WEB DESIGN

Web design is a rather new field to me which I hope to gain more experience in given its vast application and the interactive possibilities it presents to a creative mind. The most alluring aspect this field allows is the level to which the artist can interact with their audience, providing a wide range of different experiences to each individual user.

Arguably all artistic mediums are able to act like a sort of Rorschach test, presenting different reactions and interpretations to each viewer, but few are actually able to physically respond to the whims and actions of the viewer. Of those capable to such responsive reactions, none are as prevalent or commonly used as web design. In the average day nearly all people from any given walk of life is exposed to web pages and interact with the design methods used to construct said page.

I see this as an opportunity to create extremely unique and memorable designs, to engage the visitors of said sites in ways that surprise them by creating experiences wholly unique, memorable, and surprising.
