Ankle Biters

A ficticious mobile game i utilized for various classes and assignments through my time earning my degree, which allowed me to develop a clear and repeated brand identity through consistent use of font, color, and stylized artistic composition. 

The concept of the game was concieved as similar to pokemon go, but you create the creatures you fight with. you would customize creatures of your own design to later use in turn-based combat with opponents. the aesthetic conerstone of the brand was centered around different types of fangs, hence the name "Ankle Biters." players would choose from a predetermined list of characteristics and bodyplan, each having advantages and disadvantages based on the opponent creature in a "rock-paper-sissors" style, so that no specific class or feature would guarentee victory, and emphasize the importance of strategic creature crafting and implementation in battle.

  • html and CSS through the site CodePen for website mockup
  • adobe XD for alternate version of interactive webpage in both desktop and mobile format
  • adobe illustrator for asset and logo creation to later be used for both still image promotional material and motion graphics for mockup trailer
  • adobe photoshop for the creation of photo composits, incorporating various photographic and illustrated elements through masking techniques for the illusion of illustrated elements appearing to be present in real life.
